• Prepositions after certain verbs, e.g. accuse
  somebody for doing something
• Misuse of the infinitive, e.g. He is capable to
  succeed
• Misuse of the gerund to express purpose, e.g. He
  went to Britain for learning English
• Wrong use of simple and continuous tenses
  (especially the Present Continuous and the
  Present Simple used instead of the Present
  Perfect)

  sentences). Remember that the basic pattern in
  English is always Subject/ Verb/ Object
