As a Purchasing Specialist for the Fabricated
Aero-Structures Commodity Team, Jennifer
participates as part of a cross-functional team
comprised of representatives from Purchasing,
Engineering, Quality and Finance. These teams
identify opportunities to solve strategic supply
chain challenges and sourcing activities
identified to meet corporate goals, directives
and visions for the future state of business.
Jennifer also acts as a program manager for
Cessnas make to buy transition innovative.
Prior to her current position, Jennifer was a
Tactical Purchasing Supervisor for Cessnas Major
Structures Commodity Team. As supervisor,
Jennifer was responsible for planning and
organizing the tactical acquisition of materials
to assure quality, delivery and cost performance
goals were met. Before her role as Supervisor,
Jennifer served as a Purchasing Agent for
Cessnas Interior Supply Chain. During her eight
years at that position, Jennifer was responsible
for managing all soft goods, including leather,
fabric and carpet for all Cessna model lines as
well as Cessnas domestic service centers. Prior
to joining Cessna in 1999, Jennifer held a
purchasing position for Raytheon Aircraft, where
one of her main responsibilities was to manage
critical shortages to avoid production schedule
impact. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Science
degree in Business Administration with an
emphasis in Production Operations from Kansas
State University. She is currently pursuing her
Masters in Business Administration from
Southwestern University. Jennifer is TSS Green
Belt certified and holds both C.P.M. and CPIM
certifications. She has completed Textron
Universitys Tactical Procurement and Strategic
Supply Chain Management Program
training. Jennifer is a highly self-motivated,
results-oriented individual with the ability to
manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced
setting. She exhibits excellent organizational
skills and a strong attention to detail.
Jennifer resides in Rose Hill, Kansas with her
husband and two children. She and her husband
enjoy tropical vacations and spending time with
their children.
