What are demonstrative adjectives?
Demonstrative Adjectives indicate where something
is in respect to the speaker and listener.
How many demonstratives are there in Spanish?
There are three kinds of demonstratives in
Spanish
- one that points out someone or something close to
the speaker
- not as close to the speaker
- or far away from the speaker
These adjectives go before the noun. They agree
in gender and number with the noun they describe.

mark.

Éste cuesta 100 pesos.
(How much does this ring cost?)
(This one costs 100 pesos.)

Ése es muy caro.
(That one is very expensive)
Aquél es más barato.
(That one (over there) is cheaper).
accent mark is placed on the first e
