  and economic inequalities and their causes with
  candor.
• Identify the underlying reasons for establishing
  or developing community partnerships.

The importance of parity

• For community Partners, issues of parity actual
  and perceived are always a part of a
  partnership, even if they are not addressed
  overtly. Community partners particularly value
  campus partners who recognize and address these
  issues.
