HIBERNATION
Hibernation is when animals go into deep, deep
sleep for the winter

Animals hibernate during the winter to survive
cold weather. Their bodies go into a deep sleep
to preserve energy to make it through the cold
season. Without hibernation, many animals could
not survive!
