What is Interact?
  • Interact is Rotary International's service club
    for young people ages 14-18, usually based in
    schools.
  • Interact clubs are sponsored by local Rotary
    clubs, that provide support and guidance, but
    Interact clubs are self-governing and
    self-supporting.
  • Each year, Interact clubs complete at least two
    community service projects, one of which furthers
    international understanding and goodwill, the
    other for the local community.

What is Interact?
  • Through projects, Interactors develop a network
    of friendships with local and overseas clubs. In
    the process, Interactors develop leadership
    skills and learn the value of community service.
  • Since 1962 it is one of the most significant and
    fastest-growing youth programs of Rotary service,
    with more than 247,000 members in 10,700 Interact
    clubs in 120 countries. Interact has become a
    worldwide phenomenon.

Endorsed Program?
  • We are in the process of submitting our
    application to the Curriculum Council for next
    months meeting and hope to be an endorsed program
    for the 2008 school year.
