Detailed Process Description
  • In the first step of this process some overhead
    related costs are manually posted to the
    headquarters profit center to mimic the type of
    costs that might be posted automatically.
  • The next step demonstrates how the assessment
    cycle is activated which triggers the cost from
    the headquarters profit center to be distributed
    to the other product segment profit centers.
  • In this last step a report is generate which
    demonstrates that the costs from the headquarters
    profit center have been allocated to the product
    segment profit centers.
