Core Membership of the 9 HLS DPR Committees
  • Each DPR Committee elects an overall chairperson
    to lead the activities of the DPR region NCEM
    also furnishes an area coordinator to serve as a
    Non-Voting Executive Director.
  • Each core discipline has a subcommittee with
    county and municipal representatives who elect a
    member to represent them on the DPR Committee
    (DPRC).

BOTTOM LINE - WHY ARE THE DPRsSO IMPORTANT?
  • Each DPR decides as a regional team what their
    hazard response needs are subsequently draft
    project proposals to request HLS funding to
    address those needs on an annual basis.
  • DPR activities will enhance the ability of
    counties to effectively plan, train and exercise
    to ensure readiness to respond to all hazards.
