- Most families in urban areas live in large
apartments. - Unlike Western homes shoes are not worn inside
the house. - In a traditional Japanese house, you don't sit on
chairs or sleep on beds. You sit and sleep on the
floor using cushions and futon bedding. -

- The "Bullet Train" is a high speed inter city
train in Japan.The ride on the bullet train is
like an airplane without the hassles.

- Sumo sport where two wrestlers or rikishi face
off in a circular area. The Sumo tradition is
very ancient, and even today the sport includes
many ritual elements, such as the use of salt for
purification.

largest and most powerful in the world.
