  sponsors apprentice trainees for one year.
• (2)Advantages to trainees
• To learn software hardware skills to involve in
  database design.
• Development of project, to implement the existing
  packing to do the data entries.

  packages. To learn new skills in the full product
  life cycle

• Centralized Database Server (CDBS) unique
  project creation a huge database from the
  collection of each and every details of all
  citizens of Yanam with periodical
  updation/upgradation.
• Multipurpose Identification Card (MIC) to each
  Yanam citizen with 21 unique letters to identify
  each citizen and thereafter making each dept.
  transaction based on MIC with MIC as compulsory.
• Yanam Info Hub-an Intranet website for Yanam
  region with full details needed/useful to
  departments as well as citizens.

E-Governance Projects

• Yanam Municipality MIS on House Door Numbers
  Maintenance and the House Tax Collection. A
  pilot project is developed for the new Door
  Numbers Maintenance and the House Tax Collection,
  Demand and the balance. MIC number is attached to
  the House Owner and the MIC based services are
  also taken up.
• Educational Standards Monitoring System An
  unique web based project is developed for the
  Education Department for the analysis of t he
  Educational Standards like the results in each
  institute, course and class etc. Useful for
  both parents/students in evaluating the standards
  of Institutes.
• E-Citizen Needs Enquiry System Web based
  project for the citizen needs of Yanam people
  like Telephone Directory, Address, Email of
  various institutions, government offices, VVIPs,
  VIPs, business shops etc., Bus Timings plying
  through Yanam from different depots.
• MIS for Election Department Web based project
  for the Elections conducted so far in Yanam and
  its results. Useful for various queries and
  reports.
• Online Expenditure Monitoring System for the
  Government Departments in Yanam - Useful for
  various queries and analysis and monitoring of
  the expenditure in various heads in different
  departments

VISION 2003

• Establishing LAN setup at Mini Civil Station
  (MCS).
• Inter connection of MCS with NIC and Office of
  Region Administrator (ORA) using Optical Fiber
  Cable (OFC).
• Sharing Internet facilities to all the
  departments from NICNET.
• Connecting CDBS as a main server at MCS and
  establishing the LAN setup to all depts.
• NIC-messenger for departmental chatting
  facilities to avoid the Telephone charges and as
  well as useful for uploading/downloading the
  information from one dept. to another dept.
