    attention reflect these values?
  • What do I want to accomplish with my leadership?
  • What do I want people to say about my leadership
    when I am gone?

6
ASK YOURSELF Below are some questions to ask on
your personal journey toward ethical leadership
  • Will you be the same person at work? At home? In
    the community?
  • How do your values contribute to the common good?

when there is pressure to compromise or
    rationalize?
  • What would my subordinates peers say my value
    are?

    the organization

Gracious Space
  • In every organization there is a need for open
    honest communication about difficult issues.
  • How we show up, our intentions and gifts we bring
to a relationship, project or process
  • What is the setting it can foster or thwart
  • Inviting the stranger in be open to diverse and
    divergent viewpoints
  • Learning in public letting go of knowing and
    being right

9
I or We ?
  • Collective leadership becomes possible when the
members of a group, motivated by a common
purpose, begin to build relationships with each
other that are genuinely respectful enough to
allow them to co-construct their shared purpose
and work. This is about expanding from solo
perspective of I to include the We.
