Know About MS Access Database
What is Database? Well, Database is a
collection of information or data that the user
stores. MS Access database includes tables,

than 2007, has the database extension with .mdb
while the newer version has the database with

Compact and Repair Database is inbuilt utility
that comes with MS Access application. This is

where this Compact and Repair Database utility is
located in different version of Access.

  • Go to Tools menu, select Database Utilities.
  • From there select Compact and Repair Database.
  • In MS Access 2007
  • Click on Office button then click on Manage.
  • From there select Compact and Repair Database.
  • In MS Access 2010
  • Click File menu then click on Info
  • Select Compact and Repair.

  • Click the Database Tools tab
  • Go to the Tools group
  • From there select the Compare and Repair
    Database
  • In Ms Access 2016
  • Go to File tab
  • Click Info
  • Click Compare and Repair Database

Once you perform the Compact and Repair command
in any of the version of MS Access, the
application starts to fix the corruption. Once
the repairing process completes, you can then
open the file and it will be free from any kind
of corruption.

Step 1 Download and install the MS Access
