Revit Basic Fire Protection Modeling
  • This mechanical engineering course elaborates the
fundamentals of the Basic Revit Fire
Protection/Sprinkler, Basic FP Modeling tools and
will give you the skills necessary to modeling,
detailing, and visualization for Fire Protection.

Overview
  • Whats it about?
  • Understanding basics of Sprinkler System like
Wet sprinkler system, Dry sprinkler system,
    Deluge sprinkler system, Pre-action sprinkler
system and annotating construction documents like
sheets, 2D CAD, 3D CAD, etc. Understanding
    Work-sharing. Creating and modifying panel
schedules as per Design or requirement.
  • Sprinkler plays a vital role in BIM, by Using
BIM, we can easily understand, what the entire
    Fire Protection System is.

5
Objective
  • The aim of this course
  • To understand the basics of Sprinkler System.
  • To learn about Generating Pipe Layouts.
  • To create and annotate Construction documents.
  • To understand Scheduling, Documentation, and
    Work-Sharing.
  • To add and modify Sprinkler Piping Layout
    Fixture.

6
Technology
  • Whats involved?
  • Revit technology and BIM has the primary usage.
  • BIM is an integrated process built on
coordinated, reliable information about a project
from design through construction and into
    real-world operations.
  • The purpose is to cover the basic principles of
the Revit Fire Protection and the Building
    Information Modeling (BIM) approach.
  • Revit Fire Protection ultimately helps in BIM
    process.
