• Benicia has partnered with the local Museum to
  enhance interviews with historic pictures of the
  city.
• Covina is developing stories with the following
  ideasHigh School teacher reflecting on his
  tenure Memories of a local football game from the
  50s
• Early Firefighter history, etc

• Laguna Woods and San Clemente libraries have
  teamed up to increase their outreach.  They even
  purchased an additional laptop and scanner.
• Orange County has prepared a list of the
  communities oldest members and is working its way
  through the list ensuring a strong connection to
  the past.  Their first story was with a woman who
  is 101 years young.

• San Clemente Historical Society has asked the
  library to help bridge the gap between oral
  histories and digital stories by converting
  important recordings made in the 80's adding
  visuals.
• Sacramento capitalized on marketing
  opportunities for their  Digital Story Station
  during National Library Week in April when NPR's
  Storycorps program was on location capturing oral
  histories.

• Sacramento is using some of its funds to pay for
  a part time volunteer/intern to assist in the
  project.
• Pamela Algar is incorporating her work with
  California of the Past to complete her Masters in
  Library Sciences.
