What is a blog?

• At first glance, a weblog appears to be the
  musings of a lone webcrawler, trolling the sea of
  information that is the World Wide Web. A closer
  look, however, will reveal a micro world of
  conversation and monologue joined in a seemingly
  endless net of hyperlinks.
