51Learning issues New students in old tests.
- Missing learning
- We didnt teach it, so. Teach it!
- Incomplete learning
- We didnt go far enough in the thinking, so ask
more questions - Inaccurate learning
- We taught it in a way that cannot be applied in
later grade levels. Heck, we taught it wrong, so
learn the specific mislearnings and teach them
appropriately. - Competing learning
- We use multiple programs with students in
interventions that dont go together, so make
careful selection or deliberate bridges.
52Getting on the Same Page with the TEKS
- Key vocabulary
- Language of instruction
- Level of rigor
Write a definition for the term summary.
