and gas industry and the academia

    relate to petroleum resources to disseminate
    information relating to geosciences and the
    associated disciplines.

    exploiting, and producing Petroleum

    throughout its membership

University Assistance Programme (UAP)
  • Founded in 1999 in response to the noticeable
    decline in the standard of Geoscience education
    in Nigeria
  • Main Objective
  • To complement the effort of the Universities,
    States and Federal Government to maintain
    established educational standard. " To contribute
    substantially to the continuous improvement of
    educational among Higher Institutions and
    Oil/Mining Industries.

Conclusion
  • We believed as an organisation that for Nigeria
    and Nigerian universities to attain the necessary
    educational standard equal to other parts of the
    world, appropriate fees must be charged.
