What is the aperture switch for?
  • Use the l (F8) setting to decrease exposure.
    This setting works best outdoors.
  • Use the p (F2.8) setting to increase exposure.
    This setting works best indoor and with back lit
    images

How do I adjust the exposure of the picture?
  • When the camera is in the record mode, you can
    use the and - buttons to adjust the amount
    of light.
  • Pressing makes the image on the LCD brighter.
    Use it to adjust for dim indoor lighting and
    back-lighting.
  • Pressing - makes the image on the LCD darker.
    Use it to adjust for bright sunlight.

How do I use the macro switch?
  • The Normal/Macro switch tells the camera how much
    distance is between the camera and the image.
  • Use Normal for regular pictures that are 2 feet
    away or farther
  • Use the Macro for close up pictures (less than 2
    feet)

What is the protect button for?
  • The protection button is used to protect a
    picture on the camera from being erased.
  • When in the play mode, you can press the protect
    button to protect a particular image. Press the
    protect button once to protect the image, and
    press the protect button a second time to
    unprotect the same image.

How do I use the Zoom feature?
  • When in the play mode, you can use the zoom
    button to enlarge the picture on the LCD. You
    can also use the and - buttons to enlarge
    various sections of the image.

How do I display camera images on a TV?
  • Use the video (RCA) cable to connect the camera
    to the Video IN source on the back of the TV.
    Also be sure that the TV is set to the proper
    channel to display incoming video.

How do I operate the Auto Play mode?
  • When in the play mode, press both the and -
    buttons at the same time. Then you can press the
    or the - button to adjust the amount of
    time between pictures.
  • Autoplay can be set up for 1 second intervals
    between 3 and 30 seconds.
  • To stop the autoplay feature, press the shutter
    button once.

How do I delete pictures?
  • When in the play mode, press the delete button.
    You will then be prompted to with the following
    question on the LCD, DELETE? Next you can
    choose to delete the current page with the
    button, or delete all pages with the - button,
    or use the delete button to exit the delete mode.

Setup from the CAMERA menu.
Set the camera to COM 1, and 9600 Baud Rate.
