SonicPulse Introduction
- SonicPulse is an application which allows the
user to discover other mobile music users and
communicate with them in an abstract manner. - The design allows users to passively monitor a
shared music space, or actively look for other
users of the system - The system provides continuous aural information
to the user of the general activity in the
system, and allows the use of short snippets of
audio for communication between users - SonicPulse is designed to be used in a mobile
device, and will be implemented as a prototype
for S60 phones

- SonicPulse is a mobile application that allows
the user to discover other mobile music users and
communicate with them in an abstract manner - The user can listen to the dynamically generated
ambience of the system, the pulse, an
auralisation of the general activity in the
system.

snippet - The ping is reflected from other users as an
echo, a sound describing the nature of the
discovered user
