Baptists in Queensland 150 years!
2,000 years ago, 13 people gathered in an upper
room. The Church was about to be born! 150
years ago, on 5th Aug 1854, 13 people gathered
and the Baptist work in Queensland was about to
be born!

150 years later . . . . . . Impacting our
world
  • One church has grown to 170 churches
  • 13 people have grown to around 27,000
  • Countless missionaries around the world (161 from
    ABMS/GiA alone)
  • Ministry training, social services etc etc

2006 Visioning God
  • Spiritual leadership is essentially a matter of
    being able to help others connect with God for
    the first time and then to help them develop that
    relationship.
