After June 21st , all applicants will be placed
on a waiting list and charged 10 late fee. ALL
FEES WILL BE COLLECTED AT TIME OF
REGISTRATION. Cheerleaders will be fitted for
uniform at the time of registration. All checks
should be made payable to Madison
Athletic Association or MAA Birth Certificates
and Report Cards Each player and cheerleader
must provide the league with a COPY of their
birth certificate and year-end report card at the
time of registration. A player WILL NOT be able
to participate in any regular season game until
all information is submitted. If he or she has
participated in a sport with the city of
Madisons recreation department and a copy of
birth certificate is on file, he or she will not
need to provide another copy. Physicals Each
player, cheerleader and dance member must have a
physical before he or she will be allowed to
attend practice. NO CHILD WILL BE ALLOWED TO
PARTICIPATE IN ANY LEAGUE UNTIL WE HAVE RECEIVED
HIS OR HER PHYSICAL. Physical forms can be
picked up at the time of registration or from the

Practice Pop Warner Participants will start
August 1st, 2003. MCYFL will start July 21st,
2003. All
practices will be held at Palmer Park Sports
Complex located off Palmer Road, Madison, AL.
Teams will practice no longer than 2 hours.
Younger teams will practice once, no more than
twice a week when the regular season starts. No
team shall practice on Wednesday unless agreed
upon by the coaches and parents. Season
Games Games will begin week after Labor Day with
a pre-season jamboree. The regular season shall
begin on the first Saturday after Labor Day and
continue for approximately 1 weeks thereafter.
The 11 week schedule will include any post-season
tournament games. Teams play one game a week,
typically on Saturday. Location of Games Pop
Warner 50 of games will be played at Palmer.
Sites could be as far as Decatur, Danville,
Cullman and Gurley, AL. MCYFL 50 of games will
be played at Palmer. Sites could be as far as
Hazel Green, Buckhorn, Gurley and
Meridianville. All home games will be played at
Palmer Park Sports Complex. Cheerleading/Dance The
Spirit Program includes performing groups of
cheerleaders and dance squads. It provides an
opportunity for children ages 5-12 to perform in
an organized, supervised, safety-oriented manner,
and emphasizing fun for all while learning basic
cheer and dance skills. Squads perform at the
games. A local competition is held in October
for Jr. Pee Wee and Pee Wee squads. Flags and
Mitey Mite squads are exhibition only.

until 200pm _at_ Dublin Fees Flag 65, Tackle
90, Cheer/Dance 110 (Returning Cheer w/
uniform 50) Fees include a game uniform,
practice pants and all other necessary equipment.
Each player will be required to turn in all
equipment at the end of the season with the
exception of his/her jersey and socks.
Cheerleaders fee includes the cost of their
uniforms that they may keep at the end of the
season or resell next season. Returning
cheerleaders have the option of paying a reduced
fee if they use last seasons uniform.
