Something to think about

• Think of a way that mathematics and chocolate can
  be related.
• Take two minutes in your groups and
  discuss it.
• When your group has come up with an answer, send
  one person from the group to go to the white
  board in the back of the room and write down your
  answer (s).

Chocolate Time

• Pick the number of times in a week that you would
  like to eat chocolate.
• Multiply this number by 2.
• Add 5 to the product .
• Multiply your answer by 50.

• Add 1756 if you have had your birthday this year.
  
• If youre still waiting for your birthday, add
  1755.
• Subtract the four-digit year in which you were
  born.

• In your groups, discuss what do you notice about
  your answers.
• Write down all of your observations, discussions,
  and findings.
• Be ready to discuss your findings with the whole
  class.
