Library Basics

• Open 8 a.m. until 330
• Passes required before school during lunch (get
  these from media center)
• Books are checked out for 2 weeks
• Recheck books to avoid fines
• Magazines are checked out for 5 days
• Fines for over-dues are .05 per day .25 for
  reference materials
• No checkouts if you have fines or overdue
  materials.

Two types of MARC Records are listed in the
catalog.

• Complete records tell you everything even the
  number of pages
• Brief records give the basics
• Lets look at an example of each type of record

Patron Power Use OPAC to create holds check
fines in the media center or the classroom!

• Place a book on hold by looking up your book and
  clicking the hold button.
• Check your fines by clicking on Tools and My
  Information.

Your barcode is your library/lunch and your
password is your last name. Be sure and log off
when you are finished.
