as audible tones, verbal messages, and/or

610 Rule DelDOT Signal Plan Note
Proposed pole base type 4 and pedestal pole for
pedestrian signal shall be constructed
immediately adjacent to the landing area of the
curb ramp or sidewalk in accordance with current
ADA best practices. The pedestrian pushbutton
shall be installed at a height of 42 inches above
the landing area/sidewalk, and shall be located
such that maximum reach distance is 10 inches
from the sidewalk.
