1To Bend or to Break
You must remain as supple as a willow

Mastering Workplace Flexibility

Close, but I was thinking more of something like
workplace flexibility
I have found as many as 3 different levels of
flexibility
You mean like this?
Ow! My hands!
Third level students seek out the new, different
and foreign. They welcome the unfamiliar,
frequently shift roles and flourish in
high-change environments
People who reach the next level can actively
shift their thinking and behavior as the
environment changes. They maintain productivity
when implementing new or altered procedures
At the first level, fortunate are those who can
accept and adjust to changes in their job
requirements, schedules and work environments
Oof-dah!

2So now that we know the moves
Were the masters of flexibility!
Much depends on in what context or situation
youre in
Well, not quite yet
Context? You mean like being flexible while
surfing?
Very close! First we looked at how flexible you
are. Context tells us in what situations you are
flexible
Or while skiing?
At the first level, changes are minor, small in
scale and brief. Your work environment is
generally stable requiring only day-to-day
adjustments
My arms are getting tired
The third level includes changes that are
fundamental or large scale and affect ones role
or position in the District. Your work
environment may be in constant change
The next level is where changes alter how one
accomplishes tasks. Your work environment and
methods undergo frequent change
And so, happiness is found in being as supple and
flexible as a willow
