ACNS will be responsible for the Domain Tree Root

Windows 2000 Domains should become Child Domains
of ColoState.EDU
Problems encountered by members of the Domain
Tree should be brought to the Windows 2000
Management Committee for resolution
Administrator desiring to create a separate
Domain Tree should contact ACNS

Enterprise Admins Group Policy

Enterprise Admins will be ACNS personnel
Enterprise Admins accounts will only be used to
manage services requiring that level of access
Strong security practices will be used
Enterprise Admins are authorized to implement
policies set by the Windows 2000 Management
Committee

Schema Modification Policy

Schema modification requests will be analyzed by
the Windows 2000 Management Committee for final
approval
Schema modifications will be performed by
Enterprise Admins

Domain Tree Root Services Policy

The Domain Tree Root Servers will only provide
services appropriate for all Child Domains
Domain Tree Root Servers will not be used to
provide ACNS specific services
ACNS will maintain separate departmental servers
for ACNS specific services
