• When someone is able to breathe, cough and talk,
  do nothing.
• If they cant talk, cough or breathe do the
• Heimlich Maneuver if you know how.

BURN

• Run under cold water for 10 minutes.
• If serious go to the hospital emergency room.

BLEEDING

• Apply pressure until bleeding stops.
• Wash with soap and water.
• Put on some antibiotic ointment.
• Put on a bandage.
• If bleeding doesnt stop, go to the hospital
  emergency room.

BROKEN BONE

• Go to the hospital emergency room.

FIRE

• Leave your house.
• Call 911

FLOOD

• Do not walk or swim in flooded area.
• Do not drive in flooded area.
• Try to get to higher ground or upstairs in your
  house and wait for rescue.

• If you see a robbery
• Call 911

CAR ACCIDENT

• Check for injuries.
• Call 911
• Show the police drivers license, registration
  and proof of insurance.
• Get names and addresses of witnesses.
• Get license plate number.

ELECTRIC SHOCK

• Pull the plug or turn off the circuit breaker.
• DO NOT TOUCH THE PERSON UNTIL ELECTRICITY IS OFF.
• Call 911

• Perform the 3 Cs
• Check the condition of the person.
• Call 911
• Care for person until help arrives.

• Perform the 3 Cs.
• Check condition of person.
• Call 911
• Care for person until help arrives.
• If unconscious and you know how, perform CPR.

DOG BITE

• Clean wound with soap and water.
• Report the dog to Animal Control or find the dog
  owner.
• The dog needs to be tested for rabies.
• Go to the hospital emergency room.

• COVER your head
• HOLD on until shaking stops.
