    developmental apraxia of speech (DAS)
  • CAS is primarily a sensory-motor disorder
    affecting the articulatory and prosodic
    parameters of speech production
  • The child with CAS has great difficulty with
    fine, rapid, and voluntary movements necessary to
    produce speech
