Geography
  • Ancient China is located in Eastern Asia boarding
    the East China sea , Korea Bay , Yellow sea , and
    South China Sea between North Korea an Vietnam.
  • The climate is extremely diverse. It is tropical
    in the South and sub artic in the North.
  • The coordinates are 35 North and 105 South.
  • The terrain is mostly mountains and high
    plateaus. Dissert in the West and plains, deltas
    and gills in the East.

The Terracotta Warriors
  • The terracotta warriors are 6000 hollow statues
    standing in front of Emperor Ain Shi Huangdis
    tomb. They will be shot by arrows from bows and
    crossbows and shot by the warriors.

The Bronze Age
  • This was the period of time in which tools and
    weapons were made of bronze.

The Inventors of China
  • The Chinese came up with a better way of trading
    and transporting goods. They used middlemen of
    people who go between buyers and sellers. Some
    important inventions were made during the Han
    Dynasty

The Shang Dynasty
  • This was the first dynasty that
    beganbetween1760and 1500 B.C. Farming was the
    way of life for most people in the Hang River
    Valley. They grew grain such as millet and rice.
    They raised animals and made cloth from silk and
    flax a type of fiber. During this dynasty many
    tools were made lf bronze.

The Zhou dynasty
  • This dynasty lasted longer than any other Chinese
    History. The use of iron was introduced to China
    during this time.

The Chin dynasty
  • This was preceded by the Zhou dynasty. The
    unification of China in 220 B.C. under the first
    Empire Chin Shi Haung marked the beginning of
    Imperial China.

The Han dynasty
  • This dynasty began in 206 B.C. and lasted until
    220 A.D. The Han Dynasty gradually stretched
    down south to what now is Vietnam and Cambodia.
    The first ruler was a present named Han Gaozu.
    Gaozu means high ancestor. He taxed imported and
    exported trade goods to benefit the government.

Confucius
  • Confucius was a wise philosopher. He was one of
    the most famous people China.
  • One of his famous analects was, Treat others the
    way you want people to treat you.
