• Wir haben die traurige Pflicht Sie vom Tode
  Ambros Mgandas in Kenntnis zu setzen. Ambros war
  einer der ersten Mitarbeiter des Swiss Tropical
  Institute Field Laboratory in Ifakara, Tanzania,
  wo er seine Arbeit für Professor Rudolf Geigy im
  Jahr 1949 begann. Er starb nach kurzer Krankheit
  am 19. Juni 2009 im St Francis Designated
  District Hospital. Unzähligen Mitarbeitern und
  Mitarbeiterinnen in Ifakara gab Ambros über 60
  Jahre eine unverzicht-bare Unterstützung bei der
  Arbeit und war ein gross-artiger Freund. Wir
  vermissen ihn sehr und werden ihn in
  unvergänglicher Erinnerung behalten.

• It is with great sadness that we have to inform
  you Mzee Ambros Mganda, born in February 1939,
  passed away on Friday, 19th June 2009, at St
  Francis Designated District Hospital after a
  short illness. We are all very sad and have lost
  a great friend and collaborator for the past 60
  years. Mzee Ambros Mganda, recruited by Prof.
  Rudolf Geigy in 1949, was one of the first
  employee of the Swiss Tropical Institute Field
  Laboratory/Ifakara Health Institute. We miss him
  deeply and shall remember him.
