We had four players brave the horrid conditions
this Saturday. Unfortunately Byron, Calem,
Taylor, Kiana, Jayden, Bradley and Josh were
unable to make it.

With 65 of the team out today we had just
Jordan, Ethan, Carlos and Jason to battle not
only the weather but also the opposing team.
The Game Starts
We had no goalie today or maybe we had four
goalies. All four boys did fantastic trying to
save the ball and prevent goals.

Score was 6 2 to Cyclones. The Cyclones also
had four players originally but increased to five
during the game. That made all the difference.
The chance to sub out their players to allow
for that breather made the result in their
favour. Our boys were knackered by the end of
two 20 minute halves, even with the 5minute half
time. Jordan was superb in scoring our two
goals. Great effort team.

The supporters club was tiny today. Miguel,
Lyall and myself. Simon was of course on the

Listening to the Coach
As both sides were down players we agreed to a
slightly longer than normal half time. 5 minutes
instead of our normal 3. The boys all rugged up
to stay warm.

The weather was so bad that when the teams would
kick off, the ball would roll due to the wind

Player of the Day was awarded to Ethan Jury for
his efforts on the field. Our Fairest Player
Certificate went to Carlos Rojas.
Ethan
Well done to you all Jordan, Jason, Carlos and
Ethan all deserved to win Player of the Day today
for the sheer effort they each contributed today.

Each week we have prize-giving located at the
Clubrooms each Saturday. Registration at 2.30,
prize giving at 3.00
With the Holidays over practice will resume as
per normal Hillpark school 4.45 Wednesdays.
