Drop-out

• Reasons for drop-outs lack of fun, perception of
  failure or low skill, pressure, dislike of
  competition, poor relationship with the coach,
  few friends, lack of interest, other hobbies
• Longitudinal study (Patriksson 1988) show that
  more than half (7-18 yr) changed sports during 18
  months.
