Recent MSE Results

• Blue - Raw (shifted) MSE pitch angles.
• Green - EFIT calculated pitch angles
• Red - MSE data fitted to EFIT over several shots
  to obtain artificial calibration.

MSE Goals

• Calibration of beam into gas filled torus remains
  to be done.
• Still suffers from low S/N. Errors still far
  larger than the 0.2 required.
• Beam signal only modestly improved from last
  December.
• Highest achieved full energy component ratio from
  February not restored at present.
• Increases in beam signal will greatly reduce
  errors.
