The territory of the Tomsk Oblast Research and
Innovation Special Economic Zone lies within the
city boundaries its area is 197 ha.
The allotted territory includes Tomsk Scientific
Centre of the SB of the Russian Academy of
Sciences. 15-20 minutes are required to reach
the centre of the city by car. In 2007-2008 all
the necessary material and technical
infrastructure will be built on this territory.
In the Tomsk research and innovation special
economic zone duty-free customs import, decrease
in taxes to 30 , an opportunity to rent the
ground with the subsequent repayment of buildings
and constructions are provided

Regional Innovation System Interaction between
universities, research organizations, science
parks and industries.
- Sorbents for drinking water purification from
arsenic - In India, China, Vietnam, Taiwan, Korea, Africa,
- Argentina, Chile, Mexico) arsenic concentration
- in more than 80 of drinking water sources is
- several ten times higher than permitted by the
- standard of the World Health Organization.
- The most mass poisoning induced by arsenic
- pollution of drinking water occurs today in
- Bangladesh.
