- Trust will remain responsible for the research
sign-off and governance of all research - Trusts can access financial support for
undertaking portfolio research and also
recruiting patients to studies - Active involvement in research has been
demonstrated to be associated with improved
patient care, staff satisfaction and staff
recruitment
