(CCRN)
  • to provide the NHS infrastructure to support
    clinical research-25 CLRNs

Considerations
  • Trust will remain responsible for the research
    sign-off and governance of all research
  • Trusts can access financial support for
    undertaking portfolio research and also
    recruiting patients to studies
  • Active involvement in research has been
    demonstrated to be associated with improved
    patient care, staff satisfaction and staff
    recruitment
