How to pay for College?

• Bright Futures Scholarship  In 1997, the Florida
  Legislature created the Florida Bright Futures
  Scholarship Program and declared it to be the
  first education program funded each year from the
  Florida Lottery. This scholarship rewards
  students for their academic achievements during
  high school by providing funding for them to
  pursue further educational and career goals.

How to pay for college

• FAFSA   Free Application for Federal Student Aid
  The Department of Education uses the information
  provided on your FAFSA to determine your
  eligibility for aid from the federal Student
  Financial Assistance (SFA) programs.
• Seniors submit your application as early as
  possible, but no earlier than January 1st

Federal Student Aid Programs

• If you're eligible, the Federal Student Aid
  office has a variety of programs to help you pay
  for your education after high school. Click on
  Grants, campus-based aid, Stafford Loans, PLUS
  Loans (parent loans) and PLUS Loans for graduate
  and professional degree students for more
  information about these programs. For information
  on Consolidation Loans, click on "Repaying Your
  Loans" and go to "Loan Consolidation."
