Instructional Objectives

• The student will be able to
• contribute to a class Venn Diagram
• create a Venn Diagram of their own using an
  AlphaSmart and AppleWorks program

• Content Standard Language Arts Reading and
  Literature Diversity-Interact thoughtfully with
  texts that represent diversity in language,
  perspective, and/or culture.

• Technology Standard Basic Operations and
  Concepts-students demonstrate a sound
  understanding of the nature and operation of
  technology systems. Students are proficient in
  the use of technology.

• Create a class Venn Diagram for the characters in
  the story.

• In pairs, fill out Venn Diagram worksheet
• Record at least 5 similarities and 5 differences
  about each other.
• All attributes need to be constants (color of
  eyes, ethnic background, etc)
• No attributes that will change (color shirt,
  wearing shoes, hair style, etc)
