  ownership, harmonization of procedures, etc.)
• MFA Annual Aid Plans (distribution the money at
  the disposal of the MFA for aid activities)

Main governmental institutions involved in Polish
ODA delivery

• Ministry of Foreign Affairs policy setting,
  co-ordination of aid activities, programming,
  delivering of technical and humanitarian
  assistance
• Ministry of Finance financial assistance
  preferential tied aid credits, debt relief,
  contribution to the EU and international
  financial institutions and initiatives, including
  HIPC
• Ministry of National Education and Sport
  scholarship grants for students from developing
  and transition countries.

Priority directions for Polish aid 2004 - 2005

• MFA 7 priority countries Afghanistan, Angola,
  Georgia, Iraq, Moldova, Vietnam and (since 2005)
  - Palestine
• MF tied aid preferential credits for Uzbekistan,
  China and Serbia and Montenegro reduction of
  Ethiopian debt (USD 8 mln) contribution to the
  HIPC initiative (USD 1 mln)
• MNE students from more than 50 developing and
  transition countries
