If God made me gay, then why is homosexuality a
sin?

• The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven
  against all the godlessness and wickedness of men
  who suppress the truth by their wickedness, -
  Romans 118
• Therefore God gave them over in the sinful
  desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for
  the degrading of their bodies with one another.
  They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and
  worshiped and served created things rather than
  the Creatorwho is forever praised. Amen. Because
  of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts.
  Even their women exchanged natural relations for
  unnatural ones. In the same way the men also
  abandoned natural relations with women and were
  inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed
  indecent acts with other men, and received in
  themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
  Romans 124-27

• It is unnatural
• It is called a perversion
• Our culture insists several things concerning
  this issue
• Homosexuals are born that way
• It is an acceptable sexual preference
• Homosexual Couples deserve civil rights
• Any one who disagrees is a bigot

• What does the Bible teach?
• All homosexual behavior is sinful
• Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman
  that is detestable. Leviticus 1822
• Note God created sex for a man and a woman who
  are married to each other. ALL other sexual
  practices are a perversion of Gods good plan.
• 2. Homosexual temptation can be resisted
• No temptation has seized you except what is
  common to man. And God is faithful he will not
  let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But
  when you are tempted, he will also provide a way
  out so that you can stand up under it. I
  Corinthians 1013

• 3. A practicing homosexual is rejecting life
• Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth
  to sin and sin, when it is full-grown, gives
  birth to death. James 115
• What should the Christians response be?
• We must repent of the sin of rejecting
  homosexuals
• We must receive sinners without approving of
  their sins
• We must believe that God can forgive and change
  any sinner
