• Colossians 26-10 6 So then, just as you received
  Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, 7
  rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the
  faith as you were taught, and overflowing with
  thankfulness. 8 See to it that no one takes you
  captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy,
  which depends on human tradition and the basic
  principles of this world rather than on Christ. 9
  For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives
  in bodily form, 10 and you have been given
  fullness in Christ, who is the head over every
  power and authority.

What went wrong? Truth Rejected.

• 1. Exchanged the Glory of God for Images.
• Romans 122-23 Although they claimed to be wise,
  they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of
  the immortal God for images made to look like
  mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.

• 2. Exchanged the Truth of God for Lies.
• Romans 125 They exchanged the truth of God for a
  lie, and worshiped and served created things
  rather than the Creator--who is forever praised.

• Titus 115 To the pure, all things are pure, but
  to those who are corrupted and do not believe,
  nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and
  consciences are corrupted.

Proverbs 1412 There is a way that seems right to
a man, but in the end it leads to death.

• Psalms 141 The fool says in his heart, "There is
  no God." They are corrupt, their deeds are vile
  there is no one who does good.
• 2 Timothy 37,13 always learning but never able
  to acknowledge the truth 13 while evil men and
  impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving
  and being deceived.

• Mans natural sinful character
• Luke 45-7 5 The devil led him up to a high place
  and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of
  the world. 6 And he said to him, "I will give you
  all their authority and splendor, for it has been
  given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want
  to. 7 So if you worship me, it will all be
  yours."

Romans 126-32

• Romans 128 Furthermore, since they did not think
  it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he
  gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what
  ought not to be done.

Whats the Remedy? Embrace the Truth of Gods
Word.

• John 831-32 31 To the Jews who had believed him,
  Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are
  really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the
  truth, and the truth will set you free."
