Initial Assessment

• - Pain analysis site , character , referral ,
  what increase , what decrease and associated
  symptoms .
• - Physical examination .
• - Necessary Investigations
• Chest X- ray and ECG

Cardiac Chest Pain

• 1- Dull aching or heaviness.
• 2- Retrosternal .
• 3- Referred to left arm .
• 4- Increases by exercise .
• 5- History of ischemic heart disease .

First Aid of Acute Coronary Syndrome

• Do first measures
• 1- Oxygen 1L/min by nasal/patches
• 2- Nitrates sublingual/patches .
• 3- Aspirin .
• 4- Sedate the patient .

If stable blood pressure gt90/60 and no
arrhythmia
Ifunstable
????? ???????? - Call -Refer to CCU via an
Ambulance with ICU Doctor and ICU set
Admission to ICU
