What is an Equity Plan?
  • A rank-ordered list for summer extra pay offers
    to faculty
  • All Department members sign Plan.
  • All faculty listed regardless of interest.
  • Faculty can refuse work when offered.
  • Department decides Equity Plan model.

Underlying Assumptions
  • Courses not owned by individuals.
  • Multiple courses recommended by department.
  • T/TT can teach most GE, GRE, or major courses.
  • Summer (1 course) is perfect to prep new course.
  • Faculty are stimulated by new prep.
  • Opportunity to cross-train department faculty.
  • Low enrollment courses will be canceled.
  • Faculty can refuse offer.
