Rapid object detection using a boosted cascade of
features

• This project involves implementing the Viola and
  Jones paper
• Rapid Object Detection using a Boosted Cascade of
  Simple Features
• The implementation itself will involve creating a
  more general framework than the one described in
  the paper. This framework will later on be used
  for large scale image processing research
  projects.
• Weekly commitment is about 10 hours in order for
  the student to successfully complete the project
  by the end of the semester.
• Java and XML parsing skills are a must. Knowledge
  of image processing in Java is a strong plus.
