The Process of Painting Miniatures

• Clean the edges with a file
• Assemble miniature
• Apply base coat
• Wash miniature
• Dry brush the miniature
• Fine detail

Assembling Miniatures and
Basing

• Cut off unwanted material and smooth edges
• Use hobby glue to assemble
• Base color Spray or brush on, usually white,
  black, if you want your main color.

What is washing

• Washing is application of a darker color, that
  has been watered down. Allowing pigment to seep
  into the crevices of the model.
• Wash used to create shadows in creases

The Dry Brushing

• Lightly brush desired color over selected area.
• Helps to highlight certain areas.
• Armor dry brushed.
