How is the product made ?
To produce a prosthesis, there are 6 steps

• Design
• Moulding
• Polishing
• Packaging
• Supply Chain
• Sterilization
• Surgery

STEP 1 DESIGN
Everybody works together to design the next
products and it is very important.
The prosthesis has to preserve all natural
movements !

• In the Irish factory, the are 80 engineers among
  the 500 employees.
• The factory works 24 hours a day.

STEP 2 MOULDING
First, The prosthesis is molded in order to give
it the initial shape.

• 70 of prosthesis are made of Cobalt-Crome
• Titanium is stronger but it is more expensive

STEP 3 POLISHING
Polishing is very important because it avoids
wearing .

• Each prosthesis is polished twice. ( Robot
  Worker)
• Workers wear protection glasses. Moreover, they
  must not stay polishing for a long time (to avoid
  breathing diseases)

• Then, all the products are shiped to the
  international distribution center in UK.

STEP 6 STERILIZATION
In Leeds, the products are sterilized in order to
avoid any risk of diseases.

The Box 2 has been exposed to UV radation. The
orange sticker has turned into Purple so We know
that the box is sterilized.
