CHRIS WEDGE

• Date of Birth 1958
• After graduating from the State University of New
  York Purchased film department in 1981, Wedge
  started his career as a stop-motion animator. He
  then joined MAGI/Syntha Vision where he became a
  principal animator for the ground-breaking film,
  Tron (1982).
• For the rest of the '80s, Wedge worked at The
  School of Visual Arts in New York teaching
  animation at the MFA Computer Lab. In 1987 he
  co-founded Blue Sky Studios. With Wedge acting as
  VP of Creative Development, the studio soon
  became known as one of the top computer animation
  studios in the world.
• In the mid '90s he returned to film, working as
  an animating director for Joe's Apartment (1996)
  and creative supervisor for commercials and
  numerous films like Alien Resurrection (1997), A
  Simple Wish (1997) and Star Trek Insurrection
  (1998).
• The year 1998 was a big one for Wedge as he
  completed and released the short animated film,
  Bunny, following a tattered old bunny baking in
  her kitchen, while being pestered by an equally
  tattered old moth. The film was recognized
  worldwide and garnered Wedge his first Academy
  Award. He decided to follow up the impressive
  short with his first animated feature film, Ice
  Age (2002). The film was a huge box office hit,
  grossing over 176 million in the United States
  alone. He followed that up with Robots (2005),
  featuring the voices of Jude Law, Halle Berry and
  Robin Williams, to name a few of the top
  celebrities that signed on to the project.

A VERY SHORT SUMMARY

• This film is about a baby who is found by three
  animals.
• There are four main characters in this
  filmtiger,manny,sid,red cheek baby.
• At the begining tiger works for tiger group which
  dont like people,because people kill them and
  take their skin but the end of the film it is
  friend of Manny and Sid then together they reach
  babys father.

MAIN CHARACTERS

• Red cheek baby Firstly,he lose his family then
  reach only his father because his mother dies.
• Manny it is a mammoth. it is in a bad mood and
  lonely also very brave.
• SidIt is a koala.it likes sleeping very much.
• Diego it is a tiger.At the begining,tigerworks
  for tiger group which dont like people as they
  kill them and take their skin.But the end of the
  film it is friend Manny and Sid.

The animals which live In the Ice Age emigrate
to south.

• When they emigrate to south they forget a koala
  named is Sid.
• When Sid wakes up all of the herd had gone
• After that, when the koala searches for the herd
  it sees a mammoth named is Manfred
• Because Manfred had not gone yet.

When they acquinted with each other they see a
baby near the river

• They decide to take him back to the people
• When they take him back they see a tiger which
  wants to take the baby for eating.
• But they do not know this and they need a guide
  for this reason they take it in their group

When they go towards people, Manfred resques
tigers life.

• And tiger decides to say the truth to its real
  friend.
• When tiger falls, Menfred rescues the tigers
  life.

When they find the people, people think, animals
kick them and they are frightened

• After a few minutes they understand that animals
  come to bring the baby and they did not kill him.

End of the film

• When they give the baby, they feel very bad and
  there are a couple of tears on their eyes...

I Think That

• The Ice Age is one of the best animation films.
• It isnt only for children.
• When people wathches this film, they can take
  some lessons.
