July 31 Collection of info from middleware
packages. Report on Globus on packaging
requirements. CVS server available. August
15 Package server available. CVS server
mirroring/hosting DataGrid code. August
31 Reference platform defined. Bug tracking
system in place. Receive Globus 2. September
1 Resources for intensive integration available
at CERN. September 15 Website has support names
and contacts. Time table for Testbed sites
available. Versioning rules established.

certificates. Detailed layout of testbed sites
available. October 1 Intensive integration
starts. October 15 First beta release of
DataGrid. October 31 Initial limited
application testing finished. DataGrid ready for

CERN Infrastructure
8 PCs running RH Linux 6.1.1 with 20GB disk space
per machine 2 Solaris boxes. Disk server

Globus 2
From Globus Made the release we pushed
for. Not really tested. PM9-URGENT mail and
phone support. From EDG We have the RPMs ready
for the released alpha 3 Need to incorporate the
configuration. Testing needed.

Applications

• The application kits are installed by the
  application people.
• AFS NOT supported.
• WP9 provides man power for porting software to
  SGI and
• SUN.
