- At the beginning of your workday, plan the amount
of time you expect to spend on each item. - Handle each piece of paper one time.
- At the end of each workday, make a list of things

calendar.

- Set your watch five or ten minutes fast and

meeting is most efficient). - Cluster your phone calls to sales people.
Customer phone calls should be a priority. - Periodically review how you are spending your
time.

daily record to your priority list. - Revise your schedule to ensure that your daily
work time is spent on those things which are most
important for your work, and hopefully for you,
too.
