Ephesians 411-16
He is the one who gave these gifts to the church
the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and
the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility
is to equip God's people to do his work and build
up the church, the body of Christ, until we come
to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God's
Son that we will be mature and full grown in the
Lord, measuring up to the full stature of Christ.

Then we will no longer be like children, forever
changing our minds about what we believe because
someone has told us something different or
because someone has cleverly lied to us and made
the lie sound like the truth. Instead, we will
hold to the truth in love, becoming more and more
in every way like Christ, who is the head of his
body, the church.

Under his direction, the whole body is fitted
together perfectly. AS EACH PART DOES ITS OWN
SPECIAL WORK, it helps the other parts grow, so
that the whole body is healthy and growing and
full of love.

continue to show DEEP LOVE FOR EACH OTHER, for
love covers a multitude of sins.

Cheerfully SHARE your home with those who need a
meal or a place to stay. God has given gifts to
each of you from his great variety of spiritual
gifts. MANAGE USE them well so that God's
generosity can flow through you. Are you called
to be a speaker? Then speak as though God himself
were speaking through you.

Are you called to help others? DO IT WITH ALL THE
STRENGTH AND ENERGY THAT GOD SUPPLIES. Then God
will be given glory in everything through Jesus
Christ. All glory and power belong to him forever
and ever. Amen.

A Letter from Jesus I had to write to tell you
how much I love you and care for you. Yesterday,
I saw you walking and laughing with your friends
I hoped that soon you'd want me to walk along
with you, too. So, I painted you a sunset to
close your day and whispered a cool breeze to
refresh you. I waited -- you never called -- I
just kept on loving you.

As I watched you fall asleep last night, I wanted
to touch you. I spilled moonlight onto your face
-- trickling down your cheeks as so many tears
have. You didn't even think of Me I wanted so
much to comfort you. The next day I exploded
a brilliant sunrise into glorious morning for
you. But you woke up late and rushed off to work
-- you didn't even notice. My sky became cloudy
and My tears were the rain.

I love you, oh, if you'd only listen. I really
love you. I try to say it in the quiet of the
green meadow and in the blue sky. The wind
whispers My love throughout the treetops and
spills it into the vibrant colors of all the
flowers. I shout it to you in the thunder of the
great waterfalls and compose love songs for birds
to sing for you. I warm you with the clothing of
My sunshine and perfume the air with nature's
sweet scent. My love for you is deeper than any
ocean and greater than any need in your heart. If
you'd only realize how I care.

My Dad sends His love. I want you to meet Him --
He cares, too. Fathers are just that way. So,
please call on Me soon. No matter how long it
takes, I'll wait -- because I love you.
