- It is one of Charles Dickens more famous novels
about Ebenezer Scrooge and ghosts that show him
if he acts like he does now his chain and
suffering when he dies will be great and three
sectors came to visit him and helped him learn a
lesson and change his future.
5Stave One
In this stave Dickens describes Ebenezer Scrooge
as a wretched sinner who only cares about his
money. Marley his ex business partner and tells
him what will happen in his future if he
continues his path now and he will wear the chain
that Marley wears the chain of his past burdens
that will be very long. He told him three ghosts
will meet him at the stroke of one every night.
6Stave Two
The first ghost came that looked like a boy or a
old man. He showed him his past Christmases he
spent alone and also how kind his sister Fan was
so kind to him when she invited him home from his
boarding school that he stayed at. And his boss
Fezziwig that was kind to him to. But the last
Christmas he showed him was the one when his
fiancée broke it off with him because he was
greedy. He started to change.
7Stave Three
The next ghost came with a feast and Christmas
decorations and showed him the Christmases of the
present and showed him the diner at his nephews
house and showed the people making fun of his
hatred of Christmas and man kind. Then he showed
him the Cratchits home with their son Tiny Tim
and how poor they were and even though they had a
merry Christmas. Scrooges heart got even kinder
than the last stave.
8Stave four
The final ghost does not talk but shows Scrooge a
lot about his future the death of Scrooge people
sold his things and did not care or were very
happy about his death the undertaker did not know
who would come to his funeral. Tiny Tim died too
of his disease and everyone mourned for him,
Scrooge did not know who died when he saw his
name on the tombstone he instantly repented and
wept for being so cruel.
9Stave Five
It was Christmas day and Scrooge woke up happy
and bought his clerk Bob Crathchit a turkey and
went to church and patted children on the head
and was a good person. The next day he raised Bob
Cratchits salary.
